Saudi Arabia’s Qiddiya City giga-project has announced ambitious plans to develop a specialized hospitality and sports complex featuring a motorsport hotel and a state-of-the-art horse racing venue. Located within the Core Resort District, the development includes a five-star Sports Car Hotel, a four-star F1 Overlook Hotel, and serviced apartments, with an expected opening by 2034. The site will overlook the Speed Park circuit, which features the world’s first elevated racetrack corner and is designed to host Formula 1 events. Complementing the motorsport facilities, the project includes a new equestrian racecourse with the region’s first straight-mile turf track, a 2,200-meter main turf track, and a 21,000-seat grandstand.
