SailPoint has introduced SailPoint Agentic Fabric, a new platform designed to extend identity governance and security to autonomous AI agents and non-human identities. As enterprises increasingly deploy AI agents across cloud environments and applications, they face significant governance gaps due to the speed and lack of clear ownership associated with these entities. Agentic Fabric addresses this by providing discovery, visibility, governance, authorization, and protection within a unified system. It maps AI agents to human owners and critical data, ensuring accountability and enforcing least-privilege access through real-time controls. The platform complements SailPoint’s existing Identity Security Cloud, offering a comprehensive approach to managing both human and machine identities. Alongside the main platform, SailPoint launched two packages, Agentic Business and Agentic Business Plus, to support varying levels of governance needs. Additionally, a free Discovery Tool trial is available to help organizations identify shadow AI and applications. This launch aims to help businesses accelerate AI adoption while maintaining strict security, compliance, and oversight over the rapidly expanding landscape of non-human identities.
