Rokid Unveils AI-Powered AR Glasses and Spatial Link on 10th Anniversary
Chinese augmented reality company Rokid celebrated its tenth anniversary by launching its latest product, Rokid Glasses, in Hangzhou. Developed in partnership with eyewear brand Bolon, the new glasses are priced at RMB 2,499 ($345) and scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2025. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 platform and integrated with Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen large language model, the device offers AI features such as object recognition, translation, and navigation. Weighing 49 grams, the glasses support custom lenses for vision correction and include privacy safeguards like sound alerts for snapshots. CEO Misa Zhu highlighted that previous Rokid AR devices have reached over 300,000 users globally, with high daily engagement rates. Alongside the glasses, Rokid introduced the Rokid Spatial Link, a gadget enabling traditional devices to project displays onto spatial screens via DisplayPort protocol.
