Pathologist Testifies Slain Rocky View County Worker Was Shot Three Times, One Fatal
During the trial at the Court of King's Bench in Calgary, pathologist Dr. Caylea Foster testified regarding the autopsy of Colin Hough, a Rocky View County employee killed on August 6, 2024. Hough was shot three times after stopping to assist suspects with a burning stolen pickup truck east of Calgary. Dr. Foster revealed that while Hough sustained six bullet wounds (three entry and three exit), only one was fatal. This specific bullet entered his left chest, fractured a rib, perforated the sac surrounding the heart, and created a large hole in the right side of the heart, causing massive internal bleeding that led to death within minutes.
