Newly Opened Hotel in Bengaluru Gutted by Fire Suspected to Be Caused by Short Circuit

A newly opened hotel named 'Shuddha Tindi', located near Sompura Circle on the NICE Road in Bengaluru, was completely destroyed by a major fire on Thursday afternoon. The establishment had only commenced operations the previous month. According to initial reports, the blaze was triggered by a suspected short circuit in an idli steamer, which rapidly escalated and engulfed the entire premises within minutes. Eyewitnesses described the flames spreading with such speed that there was little opportunity to control the situation before firefighting teams arrived. Despite the extensive damage, which reduced the building to ashes, no casualties were reported. All staff members present inside the hotel at the time of the incident managed to escape safely.
