Minister Inaugurates ₹6 Crore Expansion of Kurnool Rythu Bazar

T.G. Bharat Gupta, the Minister for Food Processing and Industries, officially laid the foundation stone for the expansion of the C-Camp Rythu Bazaar in Kurnool. The project, valued at ₹6 crore, is a strategic initiative by the State government to enhance civic and market infrastructure as part of broader plans to develop Kurnool into a smart city. The upgraded facility is expected to directly benefit approximately 150 local farmers by providing improved trading conditions. Key features of the new two-floor market complex include dedicated parking facilities, water sprinkling systems, and drip irrigation support to assist agricultural activities. Additionally, the Minister announced plans to establish an Anna Canteen on the premises to further support visitors and workers. The contractor has been instructed to complete the construction within nine months. This development fulfills a prior assurance made by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during his previous visit to the district, highlighting the administration's commitment to modernizing agricultural markets and improving farmer welfare through advanced infrastructure upgrades.
