Approved by the Gaaman, the highest traditional authority, this agreement establishes a framework for collaboration, recognizing traditional rights and committing to sustainable development and transparency. Miata will contribute US$10,000 to support the ODF's operational readiness, aiming toward a formal Mutual Benefits Agreement. The company highlights its existing collaborative efforts, including preferential employment for local community members. Concurrently, Miata provided corporate and project updates, noting the completion of an initial environmental desktop study and the commencement of metallurgical testwork at the Jons Trend.
