Luxshare Robotics Breaks Ground on $690 Million Changshu Headquarters
Luxshare Robotics has officially commenced construction of its new headquarters base in Changshu, Jiangsu Province, marking a significant expansion in the industrial robotics sector. The project involves a total investment of RMB 5 billion (approximately $690 million) and is situated within the Changshu Intelligent Computing Future City. Spanning 145,000 square meters, the facility is designed to focus on research and development for industrial robots, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and comprehensive automation solutions. Upon becoming operational, the base is projected to generate an annual output value of RMB 10 billion ($1.38 billion) and employ a specialized team of 3,000 personnel dedicated to research and production activities. The site will function as an integrated industrial hub covering production line development, equipment procurement, and system integration. Concurrently with the groundbreaking ceremony, the Suzhou Intelligent Robotics Industry Innovation Alliance was launched. Luxshare Precision aims to collaborate with over 20 leading enterprises from the Yangtze River Delta region to establish a robust ecosystem that spans R&D, commercialization, and industrial application, thereby strengthening the regional robotics supply chain and innovation capabilities.
