Lenovo has officially announced the release details and final pricing for its new Legion Go S handheld gaming PC. Initially unveiled at CES 2025 with a starting price of $499.99, the device's cost was adjusted to $549.99 during its pre-sale phase on Best Buy. The handheld is scheduled for official release on May 25. Key hardware features include an 8-inch LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and support for VRR and 97% DCI-P3 color gamut. Unlike its predecessor, the Legion Go S features non-detachable controllers. It is powered by either AMD’s new Ryzen Z2 Go or the Z1 Extreme processor, offering up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage. The device will launch in two distinct versions: a white model running Windows and a purple model debuting Valve’s SteamOS.
