The studio confirmed that a highly anticipated sandbox mode and a friendly fire feature are scheduled for release later in 2026. The sandbox mode, previously resisted by developers to maintain narrative depth, is now planned for a beta test this summer with a full launch expected in the fall. Additionally, the friendly fire mechanic aims to enhance unpredictability in co-op gameplay, though it is not intended as a dedicated PvP system. Beyond these confirmed updates, the developer is evaluating the feasibility of additional content, including minimal single-player mod support, a boss rush mode, and a potential roguelite DLC. The roguelite addition, currently in research and development, may arrive in late 2026 or early 2027 and could be released as a paid expansion due to its complexity.
