KIMS Signs Lease with APCRDA for 500-Bed Hospital in Amaravati

The Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) has officially signed a lease agreement with the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) to establish a new 500-bed multi-speciality hospital in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The agreement, finalized on May 7, 2026, involves the allotment of two acres of land in Nidamarru village, located within the Mangalagiri mandal. This initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure in the capital region and provide residents with access to advanced medical facilities and modern treatment services. During the formal handover ceremony, APCRDA Joint Director (Estates) Zubin Chiran Roy signed the document on behalf of the authority. Officials highlighted this project as a significant milestone in developing Amaravati into a people’s capital equipped with world-class institutional facilities. Beyond improving healthcare access, the hospital is expected to stimulate medical investment and generate employment opportunities in the area. The development underscores the ongoing expansion of civic infrastructure in the region, aiming to enhance the quality of life for locals while attracting further corporate interest in the healthcare sector.
