Karimnagar Police Detain Two Suspects in Gold Jewellery Heist

The Karimnagar police have made significant progress in solving the high-profile armed robbery at PMJ jewellery shop, which occurred on May 3, 2026. Authorities have detained two members of the five-person inter-state gang in West Bengal. One suspect is a key member of the robbery team, while the other is alleged to be a receiver of part of the stolen gold jewellery weighing approximately 1.6 kg. Both individuals are being transported to Karimnagar for interrogation to help locate the remaining three absconding accused. Vital clues, including CCTV footage, an abandoned motorcycle, and a smashed mobile phone found near Dharmapuri, aided the manhunt that spanned multiple states including Maharashtra and Bihar.
