IDF Eliminates Three Hamas Commanders in Gaza Strikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of three Hamas commanders in two separate airstrikes conducted earlier this week in the Gaza Strip. The first strike on Monday targeted Islam Hisham Riyad Kanita and Mahmoud Hamed Youssef Hamdouna, both leaders within Hamas’s Production Unit. According to the military, these individuals were actively working to rebuild the group's military capabilities and advance attack plans, even during ceasefire periods. The IDF stated that precise munitions and aerial surveillance were utilized to minimize civilian risk. A second strike on Tuesday killed Ahmed Abu Khdeira, a commander in Hamas’s Communications Unit in Gaza City, who was reportedly planning imminent attacks against IDF troops. Additionally, the IDF reported killing two other terrorists who crossed the Yellow Line in northern Gaza after posing an immediate threat to soldiers. These operations highlight ongoing military efforts to dismantle Hamas's infrastructure and neutralize threats to Israeli forces amidst the continuing conflict.
