Huawei Unveils TruSense System for Smart Wearables, Launching in September
Huawei has officially unveiled its new TruSense System, a comprehensive health monitoring platform for smart wearable devices, at the Innovative Wearable Technologies day in Dongguan, China. Scheduled for market release in September, this system aims to enhance the accuracy and speed of physiological and environmental data analysis in smartwatches and fitness trackers. The TruSense System, known as Xuan Ji in Chinese, integrates single-point monitoring technologies into a multi-dimensional sensing framework capable of assessing over 60 health indicators, including emotional states and stress levels via heart rate data. Zhang Wei, President of Huawei’s Consumer Business Group for smart wearables, emphasized that this technology is as critical to their wearables as SoCs are to smartphones. This launch strengthens Huawei's competitive position against rivals like Apple and Xiaomi in the growing global wearable market, which saw an 8.8% year-on-year shipment increase in early 2024. With 11 years of experience and over 150 million products shipped, Huawei continues to collaborate with global health institutions to refine its health monitoring capabilities, focusing on chronic disease prevention and scientific lifestyle management.
