Huawei has officially released the latest version of its Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADS 3.0) and launched the Stelato S9, the first luxury sedan under its Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance with partner BAIC. Priced between RMB 399,800 and RMB 449,800, the vehicle targets premium competitors like the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and BMW 7 Series. Huawei executive Richard Yu claimed that ADS 3.0 enables fully autonomous driving from garage to garage in complex urban environments, asserting superior safety performance compared to Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system. While adopting an end-to-end neural network approach similar to Tesla, Huawei retains separate networks for specific tasks and integrates LiDAR for enhanced perception.
