Heritage Foods Q4 FY26 Net Profit Falls 37% to ₹24 Crore Amid Rising Costs
Heritage Foods Ltd reported a significant 37.26 percent year-on-year decline in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, dropping to ₹23.94 crore compared to ₹38.16 crore in the same period last year. The Hyderabad-based dairy company attributed this downturn to higher operational expenses, which rose to ₹1132.40 crore from ₹990.59 crore previously. Despite these rising costs, total income for the January-March quarter increased to ₹1157.56 crore from ₹1048.46 crore a year ago. For the full fiscal year 2025-26, net profit decreased by 20.26 percent to ₹150.13 crore. Executive Director Brahmani Nara highlighted that the industry faced one of its toughest operating environments in recent years, characterized by severe milk shortages, elevated procurement inflation, and a weak flush season. Nevertheless, the company managed to deliver resilient revenue growth despite these challenging market conditions. The results reflect broader pressures within the dairy sector, where input cost inflation and supply constraints have significantly impacted margins even as top-line revenue demonstrates stability and growth.
