AP Health Minister Urges Medical Colleges to Target NIRF Rankings and Global Publications

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare, Satya Kumar Yadav, has directed medical colleges in the state to strive for high rankings in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). Speaking at the inauguration of the Disease Monitoring and Decision-Making Centre (DMDC) office at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) in Vijayawada on April 16, 2026, the Minister emphasized that achieving NIRF recognition is crucial for institutional credibility.
