GITAM University Hosts TEP Exhibition Showcasing 150 Student Projects

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at GITAM Deemed to be University successfully organized a Technology Exploration and Product Engineering (TEP) course exhibition in Visakhapatnam. The event, held on a Thursday, served as a platform for students to demonstrate their engineering innovations and practical applications. A total of 15 student groups participated, presenting over 150 distinct projects that ranged from conceptual designs to functional prototypes. These projects were rigorously evaluated by a distinguished panel comprising industry experts and academic professors, ensuring a high standard of technical review and professional feedback. From the extensive pool of submissions, 25 outstanding prototypes were selected for final demonstration, highlighting the most promising innovations. This exhibition underscores the university's commitment to fostering hands-on learning and bridging the gap between academic theory and industrial practice. By engaging with industry professionals, students gained valuable insights into product engineering standards and market viability.
