Four Arrested with MDMA in Hyderabad's Amberpet; Key Accused Detained
The Excise State Task Force in Hyderabad arrested four individuals for allegedly possessing and attempting to sell MDMA following a raid in the Amberpet area. During the operation early on Friday, officials intercepted a vehicle and seized 4.62 grams of the narcotic drug, along with the car and three mobile phones. The accused were identified as Sheikh Faisal, P. Anshu Prasad, MD. Masood, and A. Preeti Vardhan. Sheikh Faisal, identified as the prime accused, was described as a key figure in narcotics trafficking who had been absconding in three previous cases and allegedly involved in long-term drug supply chains. Investigators revealed that the group had procured approximately 20 grams of MDMA from Bengaluru and were in the process of selling it when apprehended. The team, led by SCI Sandhya, acted on specific intelligence regarding drug sales near Tilaknagar. All four suspects, along with the seized evidence, have been handed over to the Kachiguda Excise Station for further legal proceedings and investigation into their broader network and prior criminal activities.
