Foundation Stone for Judicial Guest House to be Laid by AP High Court Chief Justice

The foundation stone for a new judicial guest house near Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam is scheduled to be laid by Andhra Pradesh High Court Chief Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur. The ceremony will take place during the Chief Justice's official visit to the city on April 17 and 18, 2026. District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore reviewed the logistical arrangements during a meeting at the Collectorate, directing officials to ensure seamless coordination for the event, which is set to occur behind the ISKCON temple at Yendada. The Collector emphasized strict adherence to protocol, security measures, traffic management, and accommodation arrangements. Chief Justice Thakur is expected to arrive on the night of April 17 and will participate in various official engagements the following day. Key officials, including GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg, were present at the planning meeting to oversee the preparations. This infrastructure development aims to provide better facilities for judicial officers visiting the region, reflecting ongoing efforts to improve legal infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh.
