FLY91 Increases Flight Frequency on Andhra Pradesh-Hyderabad Routes

Low-cost regional airline FLY91 has announced an increase in flight frequency on its routes connecting Rajahmundry and Vijayawada to Hyderabad, effective May 16, 2026. This operational expansion comes in response to overwhelming passenger demand and aims to enhance regional air connectivity within Andhra Pradesh. The airline will raise the number of daily flights on both routes from two to three, a change designed to facilitate convenient same-day return travel for passengers. Manoj Chacko, the Managing Director and CEO of FLY91, stated that this move aligns with the company’s ‘Bharat Unbound’ vision, which seeks to strengthen its footprint in regional markets by providing reliable and safe travel options between key tier-2 cities and major hubs. Currently, FLY91 serves twelve destinations, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, and Kochi. This development highlights the growing need for dependable regional aviation services in the state and underscores FLY91's commitment to improving accessibility for travelers in southern India. The adjustment reflects broader trends in domestic aviation where regional carriers are expanding services to meet increasing consumer expectations for flexibility and connectivity.
