Residents and businesses in several areas of the Belagavi district are advised to prepare for a scheduled power supply disruption on Saturday, May 8, 2026. The outage is set to occur from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will affect multiple localities including Nagargali, Mundawada, Kumberda, Tharwad, Londa, Gunji, Mohisheta, Vatre, Bhalke BK, Bhalke KH, Shindolli, Honkala, Savargali, Ambewadi, Tivoli, and Dokegali. These areas are primarily serviced by the Londa Sub-Station. According to an official release issued by the Hubli Electricity Supply Company Limited (HESCOM), the temporary suspension of electricity is necessary to facilitate urgent emergency maintenance work on the infrastructure.
