Dog Rescued from M-Sand Mound in Thanjavur

A street dog was successfully rescued after becoming trapped in a mound of manufactured sand (M-sand) in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The incident occurred early on Monday at Prabha Nagar Extension, located on Medical College Road. According to local sources, the dog had settled near the sand pile when a portion of the mound suddenly loosened and collapsed, covering most of the animal's body. Fortunately, the dog's head remained above the sand, allowing it to breathe and bark for assistance.
