CSML Assigned DPR for Kochi Model Road Project

Cochin Smart Mission Limited (CSML) has been tasked with preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the beautification of the road stretch between Goshree Junction and Durbar Hall ground in Kochi. This initiative is part of a larger model road project, identified as one of 21 priority tasks by the new United Democratic Front (UDF) governing committee for its first 50 days in office. The project is scheduled for implementation in three phases. Mayor V.K. Minimol stated that CSML was engaged due to limited progress on similar previous attempts. Additionally, a private builder will handle beautification and maintenance between Goshree Junction and High Court Junction under a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. The article also highlights other administrative achievements, including the acquisition of an electric bus for shuttle services, the operational status of Indira Canteen, progress on wellness centers, and waste management improvements. While most priority projects are implemented, some, like school modernization and beach green protocols, face delays due to technical issues or election code of conduct restrictions.
