Crimson Desert Launches Major Patch 1.05 to Enhance End-Game Combat
Pearl Abyss has released a significant update, version 1.05.00, for its action-adventure game Crimson Desert, aiming to address player feedback regarding end-game combat frequency. The patch introduces two major systems: Rematch and Re-blockade. The Rematch feature allows players to re-challenge 69 previously defeated bosses using Memory Fragments found at original battle sites, offering both static and scaled difficulty modes. Meanwhile, the Re-blockade system enables liberated strongholds to be contested again by thirteen factions, with adjustable frequency settings ranging from stable to war modes. Additionally, the update adds new legendary pets, including the Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw, along with a new creature, the Mountain God Boar. Quality-of-life improvements include a new shop for disguise items, better interaction with gold bars, and fixes for housing UI issues. This update marks the first step in Pearl Abyss's plan to progressively refine these foundational systems and deepen the game world in future patches, ensuring sustained challenge and engagement for players across PC and Mac platforms.
