China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has officially published a proposed roster for a new Standardisation Technical Committee dedicated to humanoid robots. The committee comprises 65 members, including prominent industry leaders and academic scholars. Notably, Unitree Robotics founder Wang Xingxing and ZhiYuan Robotics co-founder Peng Zhihui have been appointed as deputy chairs.
