Census 2027: Door-to-Door Enumeration Begins in Mysuru and Kodagu

The door-to-door enumeration phase of Census 2027 has officially commenced in the Indian districts of Mysuru and Kodagu, following the conclusion of the self-enumeration period. In Mysuru, a substantial workforce of 6,450 enumerators has been deployed to conduct household visits within the City Corporation limits. Simultaneously, 999 enumerators are operating across Kodagu to ensure comprehensive data coverage. This stage involves collecting and uploading responses to 33 specific questions regarding housing and household conditions. A significant technological shift is evident in this exercise, as data collection is being executed through a dedicated mobile application, marking a complete departure from the manual methods utilized during the 2011 Census of India.
