ByteDance’s AI large model, Doubao, has achieved a significant milestone with daily token usage exceeding 120 trillion as of March this year. According to Volcano Engine, the platform hosting the model, this figure represents a doubling of usage over the past three months and a staggering 1,000-fold increase since the model's launch in May 2024. Alongside this growth, Volcano Engine announced that its Seedance 2.0 API has entered public beta for enterprise users. The number of companies on the platform with cumulative token usage surpassing one trillion has also risen from 100 to 140 since the end of last year.
