BioResearcher: Scenario-Guided Multi-Agent System for Translational Medicine
A new research paper introduces Ingenix BioResearcher, a specialized multi-agent artificial intelligence system designed to address complex challenges in translational medicine. Unlike general-purpose foundation models that often produce single-shot answers, BioResearcher maps queries to versioned research playbooks and delegates tasks to specialized subagents using over 30 tools and machine-learning endpoints. The system integrates structured database access with sandboxed code for genome-scale analyses and applies claim-level multi-model reconciliation to ensure auditable, evidence-based results. Evaluations demonstrate its superior performance across various benchmarks, including an 83.49% pass rate on single-step tests and leading scores in biomedical reasoning and clinical discovery tasks.
