At its Code with Claude developer conference, Anthropic announced a strategic partnership with SpaceX to utilize the full compute capacity of SpaceX's data center in Memphis, Tennessee. This deal grants Anthropic access to over 300 megawatts of new computing power, primarily through SpaceX's Colossus 1 supercomputer, which features more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs including H100, H200, and GB200 accelerators. Consequently, Anthropic has immediately increased usage limits for its Pro and Max plan subscribers, doubling the five-hour window limits for Claude Code and removing peak-hour restrictions. API limits for the Opus model were also raised.
