Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu Completes Online Self-Enumeration for Census-2027

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has officially participated in the self-enumeration phase of the upcoming Census-2027 by submitting his personal details via the official online portal, se.census.gov.in. This action marks the commencement of Phase-I of the census exercise, which began on April 16, 2026, in Vijayawada. During the process, J. Nivas, the Director of Census Operations for Andhra Pradesh, briefed the Chief Minister on the procedure, which involves answering 33 specific questions regarding household and personal information. Citizens are encouraged to register their housing and demographic details online until April 30, 2026. Following this digital self-registration period, census enumerators will conduct door-to-door visits from May 1 to May 30 to verify data and collect information from those who have not yet registered. Chief Minister Naidu emphasized that this census is not merely a statistical data collection effort but serves as a crucial foundation for future state growth and development. He publicly appealed to all residents to provide accurate and truthful details to ensure the effectiveness of the planning processes derived from this comprehensive demographic survey.
