Andhra Pradesh Approves 599 Industrial Land Proposals Worth ₹2,037 Crore

The Andhra Pradesh State Land Allotment Committee (SLAC) has approved 599 applications for industrial land allotment, representing a total proposed investment of ₹2,037 crore. The decision, made during a meeting on April 16, 2026, covers 215.80 acres of land distributed across 19 districts in the state. These projects are projected to generate employment opportunities for approximately 11,488 individuals. The approvals follow the consideration of 915 total applications received by the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC), indicating strong and sustained investor interest in the region. The sanctioned proposals span a diverse range of sectors, including manufacturing, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), food processing, engineering, automobiles, electronics, logistics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.
