AIADMK Legislators Gather in Puducherry Resort Under Palaniswami's Direction

AIADMK Puducherry unit secretary A. Anbalagan confirmed that newly elected legislators from Tamil Nadu have been accommodated in a resort in Puducherry under the direct instructions of party general secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami. This move aims to ensure unity among the party's elected members, with Anbalagan asserting there are no factions and all MLAs remain loyal to Palaniswami's leadership. Approximately 30 legislators were reported staying at the RKN Beach Resort in Pudukuppam after initially lodging at The Shore Thrishvam. Anbalagan cited the cooler climate in Puducherry as the reason for the location choice. Additionally, Anbalagan stated that Palaniswami expressed sadness over the defeat of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in the Kolathur constituency during the recent Assembly elections. Palaniswami reportedly acknowledged Stalin's decades of public service and suggested voters should have been kinder. The gathering occurs amidst ongoing discussions regarding government formation in Tamil Nadu, with Governor Arlekar assessing majority support claims.
