Actor Balakrishna Donates Seven Rakshak Motorcycles to Sri Sathya Sai Police

Nandamuri Balakrishna, a prominent actor and Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Hindupur, has donated seven 'Rakshak' patrol motorcycles to the Sri Sathya Sai district police force. The donation, valued at ₹15 lakh, was facilitated through his Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funding mission. The official handover ceremony took place in Puttaparthi on Monday, May 11, 2026, where Superintendent of Police (SP) S. Satish Kumar received the vehicle keys from Balakrishna's representatives. The SP subsequently distributed the motorcycles to police sub-divisions in Hindupur, Kadiri, Penukonda, Puttaparthi, and Dharmavaram. According to police officials, these vehicles are intended to strengthen emergency response capabilities, enhance field mobility, and improve night patrolling operations across the district. SP S. Satish Kumar emphasized that the increased mobility would allow personnel to respond swiftly during emergencies and maintain law and order more effectively in sensitive areas. He publicly thanked Balakrishna for supporting the police department with modern infrastructure, noting that such contributions help improve public safety and foster closer connections between law enforcement and the community.
